So much resonance with this post. I'm not a good swimmer so everytime I get into the water, I feel a little apprehensive. But learning how to float has taught me to trust the buoyancy and surrender.
This is so beautifully stated. I certainly felt apprehensive learning to float but it shifted my ability to surrender in water. My aunt and uncle did a great job encouraging and creating the safety I needed to surrender. Support and cultivating a sense of safety whether for ourselves or others really goes a long way.
